At stop-ttip.org you may pose the MEP (Member of the European Parliament) from your country and of your party questions about CETA. The questions themselves are very informative and worth reading. CETA puts environmental, climate protection, consumer and employment rights at risk. The so called “regulative cooperation” lays down influence rights of lobbyists on politics. A “Joint Commitee” will be able to change the contract non-democratically by its own authority after it has come into force. We need to strive for making the EU-parliamentarians deny the “temporary application” of CETA!
After Juncker, the president of the European Commission had to give in on putting CETA into effect without asking the parliaments of the member states the new strategy is to put the contract into force «temporarily». CETA could remain in effect for years until all parliaments would have decided on it. This could have lasting effects. Laws could be bended by the interest of big companies and the tax-payers could be deprived billions of Euro. CETA allows the widely opposed «arbitration courts» as TTIP does (ISDS)!
It would have had to be clear from the beginning. The German-Iranian assassin of Munich would not commit himself to any of the well known Sunni terror organizations like the IS, Al Kaida or Al Nusra because all these are Sunni terror organizations while he himself was a Shiite once coming from Iran. However it can not be said that either Sunnites or Shiites would be more radical while proponents of both groups keep fighting and killing each other in the Near East. In deed the location of the attack, a shopping mall in Munich as well as hints to the police from “wannabe-terrorists” that three armed men were shooting in the innermost of the town would at first have allowed the conclusion that this was an Islamist terror attack.
Now let us come back to the crime of Munich. It was not an assassination by a right wing extremer like Breivik. Mere hate towards his school fellows who have mobbed him like at the assassination of Winnenden does also appear very unlikely. If so he would have chosen to commit the shooting rampage at his school while he would not have invested much time and effort in cracking the Facebook account of a foreign contemporary in order to lure random people of his age to the location where he planned his assassination. Even the type of his psychic disease, a depression with anxiety disorder, does not allow any direct conclusion about his motivation for this crazed action.
