Besides Google, IBM is a leader in the field of quantum computers. The Ehningen site in Europe now has the first quantum computer with more than 25 qubits (IBM Q System). In March 2020, IBM and the Frauenhofer-Gesellschaft signed an agreement with Angela Merkel to advance research on quantum computers in Germany. The quantum computer can be used to develop battery and fuel cells, it can be used for better algorithms for industrial manufacturing, development, logistics, energy and finance as well as for stability analysis of critical infrastructure networks.
Corrected an incorrect free of the public key striking if the TLSA record contains a hash of the public key rather than a hash of the whole cerificate. The key obtained via X509_get_X509_PUBKEY must not be freed as it belongs to the whole X509 certificate. Previously possible arbitrary code execution!
64bit file offsets on 32bit systems allowing for continuation of file downloads with more than 4GB
two flavours of a̅tea: unbound (as previously) and direct (no need for special DNS servers, currently no signature validation)
license & code reusage: choose your license between ISC, GPLv3 and others
correct retrieval of DANE TLSA records if certificate differs from that used at port 443 (default SSL port)
automatic check for outdated certificates (can be switched off)
possibility to print the most important certificate properties on command line including hashes for comparison in browsers and as used in TLSA records.
correct printing of IPv3 addresses if portions of the address are greater or equal to 128
“-hh” option to not only print the response but the http request sent before
noop operation for merely checking and printing certificates
no more separate code blocks for tii and tii-cert: code unified

Many children had lost their lives in Indian Residential Schools. According to an article of the National Post most children died of tuberculosis. Malnutrition was a problem. They did lack even the most basic health care. One child died after stepping on a nail. Most notably are those children who died because they tried to run away f.i. in the fear of being beaten. The average death rate was as high as under Canadian Prisoners of War in Nazi custody (1:50). Besides the losses in lives the effects of cultural alienation caused by these school continue to last and may pander things like alcoholism or higher suicide rates. In other parts of the world such boarding schools are still a realtiy. In our last message we have reported from children who died after running away from a boarding school in Malaysia (You can still sign the petition from then…).

Chlorpyrifos is especially harmful to children causing learning disabilities, including reductions in IQ, developmental delay, and behavioral problems. In the EU the pesticide is already forbidden and now a court in the US has ruled that Chlorpyrifos is too dangerous to grow our food. Tell the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) to follow suit and forbid the chemical.
PFAS (per & polyfluor alkyl substances) are a group of persistent non-biodegradable chemicals impacting the thyroid, immune system, reproductive system, lowering the effects of vaccinations, raising the susceptibility for infections, causing cancer, liver damage, low birth weight and other health problems. These chemicals already have become ubiquituous appearing in breast milk in the US. Though they are regulated in the EU they are easily transported in the environment covering long distances away and an increasing problem worldwide: article at msmagazine.com, mentioned also at elstel.org, plastics article.
